Learn basic sign language
Our curriculum is centered on helping students who are deaf & hard of hearing to learn
everyday basic signs that will help them communicate well with each other and their
communities at large.
Education Habilitation offers classes that will benefit those who are deaf or hard of hearing, and who do not know sign language or ASL. We believe that it is imperative for them to be able to communicate in both spoken and manual languages.
It is apparent that there are many stigmas that can discourage both parents and their children from learning sign language. For instance, some may fear the loss of fluency in spoken language or even the likelihood of learning to communicate in spoken language. Some may also think that the public display of signing will make them feel like an outcast. However, the mission of Education Habilitation is to cause our students to thrive in both spoken and manual languages. With this class, we aim to help each student embark upon the journey to communicate with confidence.
We are a Christian based business and stand firm on the beliefs and principles of God’s Word (the bible). Genesis 5:2 says, "He created them male and female, and He blessed them and called them human.” Based on this scripture, we do not believe that there are more than 2 genders. We do not push or support the idea of transgenderism, homosexuality, or trans-species. Therefore when teaching students the pronoun portion of the program, we will strictly stick to this scriptural truth.
In addition, we do not and will not teach any type of LGBTQ terminology or ideology.
We do, however, welcome ANY and ALL individuals to be a part of our program.
Program Schedule
The program lasts for 6 weeks beginning Monday October 14th, and ends on Wednesday November 20th.

Day Classes:
(Day program times are specifically geared for home schooled students.)
Mondays & Wednesdays
11 am -12 pm (ages 6-12)
1 pm-2 pm (ages 13-17)

Program Costs
Registration Fee: $45
- There is no registration fee for the single class option.
- Registration fee is due at the time of signing up, and secures the spot of your student and the materials
- Final tuition payment is due before the first day of class.
